A Quick Fourth-Wall Break
Hey there! This is Brooks, coming at you from behind a computer screen. I wanted to let you (yes, you specifically) know that, while I am not pursuing a career as an actor, I do believe that the meaning of life is making art with one's friends and, for me, acting is a lovely way to do that. I find performing to be an incredible creative outlet and source of artistic inspiration, and I look forward to continuing to act for the sake of community and personal enjoyment. You can check out some of my acting credits below, and feel free to contact me for additional information and material.

"It is a testament to [Gillespie's] acting abilities that a relationship between a woman and a slot machine could feel so real... It’s no wonder that her show-stopping solo number “Programming II/Eureka” in the second half of the show garnered some of the most raucous applause of the evening – Gillespie’s voice was not only powerful and melodious but incredibly emotive as she revealed that she had a found a way to insert herself into the slot machine." - Molly Durawa, The Columbia Spectator

"The physical comedy of Brooks Gillespie [was a] top-notch example of the craft." - Ava Markovsky, The Columbia Spectator
